The Zaha Hadid Foundation will support Drawing Matter’s prestigious Architecture Summer School again this year. This is the first time ZHF will host the school at our Grade II listed building in Clerkenwell, London.

Set up by the Drawing Matter Trust in 2017, the school offers fully funded places for students from all backgrounds curious about studying architecture. This is our third year supporting the school, which will take place from Wednesday 27 August to Saturday 30 August. Applications are now open for prospective students.

During the free four-day course, students will take part in various activities, including archive visits, drawing, discussions, practical experimentation, collaborative learning and critical social thinking. They will be guided by the teams at Drawing Matter and ZHF, alongside a team of young architecture tutors.

Drawing Matter is welcoming applications from anyone over the age of 16 who is curious about studying architecture until 6 July 2025. They are looking for intelligent and communicative young people with a keen interest in the visual environment, an inquisitive attitude and a positive approach to learning.
