Current vacancies 

Collections Assistant x 2

We are seeking to appoint two Collections Assistants on a fixed term basis (to 31 December 2024). The Collections Assistants will work as part of a team on a project to audit, research, document and rehouse the Foundation’s wide-ranging collections, and to support other aspects of the organisation’s activities, including the developing research, loans and exhibitions programme. The roles are primarily based at our Shad Thames storage facility, but may also work at our Bowling Green Lane site and will be expected to travel to off-site object storage locations across London.

Placements 

There are no current placement opportunities. 

Work experience

ZHF understands the immense value of work experience to both the host and the person undertaking the placement. We endeavour to provide a wide range of experiences in a cultural and research institution. 

We normally offer work experience placements lasting five days to children and young people up to the age of 18, in partnership with their school and guardian. We also accept permission solely from a guardian if they are home schooled. 

Please note, we do not offer any architectural work experience.
