Community Workshops with the Peel Institute

The Zaha Hadid Foundation is hosting a series of monthly art workshops for older people in collaboration with the Peel Institute, a non-profit local community organisation in Clerkenwell, London.

Each workshop has a different theme in relation to Zaha Hadid’s artistic legacy. Wilson Yau (ZHF) begins the workshops by introducing Zaha’s work and the Foundation, followed by a guided tour around our Grade II listed building to explain its dynamic history as a former 19th-century school site and HQ of Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA).

Workshops have included a clay-making session, with a focus on the Zaha-designed vases on display in our Lecture Theatre, and a tutorial on designing architectural pop-up models, inspired by her most well-known buildings.
